South Texas Health System Heart features a full service Emergency Department and a Heart Emergency Center. In addition, our ER is fully equipped to treat all emergency conditions including heart attack, trauma, infections, problems associated with diabetes, and early intervention for strokes. We are designated as a Level IV Designated Trauma Services by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
